Galina is a gifted and cultured artist; her medium of choice is charcoal and has created a striking self-portrait awhile back when she was visiting New York. To start her session, we hung out at Blue Line Coffee and tried to stay out of the way of the film crew that happened to be shooting a commercial down the street (it was a pleasant surprise to see a familiar face on the crew: Ann, the talented stylist from Select Model Management). Later, we went to the Joslyn Art Museum‘s Sculpture Garden (contrary to popular belief, it’s not a public park, it’s part of the private museum) and ended the night at Elmwood Park. We even managed to avoid the rain!
